Are you the hands-on quick fixer, eager to learn and looking for a challenge? We are looking for a Facility Management Intern for our location in Rotterdam for a period of at least 3 months to start as soon as possible.

TSH is about to embark on a period of hyper growth terms of number – and geographical spread of locations. We facilitate inspiring and organized meeting rooms for all sorts of events. Next to that we have an active student committee who are hosting events throughout the hotel.

The team is looking for an intern, keen to be a part of a team that facilitates future changemakers in their journey. This learning opportunity will allow you to contribute to the further success of a pioneering and disruptive hotel concept, changing the way hospitality is perceived today.

What you’ll be doing to make it happen

As a Facility Management Intern you will coordinate and check external partners from housekeeping and maintenance. You will be cooperating with our Hotel Manager, Reception and Technical staff.

Some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Duty rounds, ensure the hotel looks neat and all the facilities are functioning accordingly
  • Support technical staff and front office team
  • Managing storages and contact with suppliers
  • Project wise upgrade the hotel (gaming area, bike garage and rooms)
  • Monitoring and measuring guest satisfaction

Requirements

Background

  • Must be an enrolled student (MBO/HBO), preferably studying hospitality or facility management
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), Dutch and other European languages are considered an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, you must be experienced working with numbers and Microsoft Excel
  • Technical skills are an advantage
  • Living in Rotterdam or nearby
  • Legally permitted to work and live in the Netherlands/ European Union
