Job Description

Bouygues UK is recruiting a Purchase Ledger Office Administrator for our Shared Service Centre, working in our vibrant Finance office in Haywards Heath.

Overall purpose of the role:

-To carry out all Purchase Ledger administration activities to a competent standard and ensuring the Company`s financial transactions are recorded accurately.

-To drive a right first time approach to all Purchase Ledger activities and develop a culture of delivering service excellence.

-To provide a professional customer service experience to Bouygues internal and external businesses.

-Drive a culture of continuous improvements and to share best practices

Main duties & Responsibilities of the Role

-To open, sort & date stamp incoming daily post ready for scanning. Including separating into legal entities and type (Alpha, multi, mono etc....)

-Identify and distribute known exceptional items to PL Management team and PL Assistants

-To manage the shared PL mailboxes. Including the printing and sorting of invoices, distribution of supplier statements and enquiries. To include general mailbox housekeeping

-Daily scanning of pre-sorted items into PL Assistant SAP workflow

-To assist with the SAP verify process following applicable procedures in SAP

-General Administration duties, including but not limited to franking of post

-Maintain well organised and accurate filing and following the tidy desk policy

-Ad-hoc duties at the request of the Management team

-All duties to be carried out in accordance with individual and team procedures and policies

-Competent with Microsoft Office suite
