Department Overview

Pfizer has an established portfolio and a promising late stage pipeline to treat patients with different rare diseases (RD).  The In-Line team is responsible for four different brands (across three therapy areas) which are being marketed across the globe; in addition we will be launching new assets in the coming years.

This role is in the Global Marketing In-Line team, responsible for supporting the establishment of a digital hub for the global team that will then be extended also to the countries. This role will provide the opporutnity to introdue innovation and best practice to the marketing team, working closely with the marketing colleagues in country as well as cross-functional teams in medical, regulatory, digital and compliance.

The global team is mainly split between Walton Oaks, Surrey, UK, and NYC, US. This role will be based in Walton Oaks. This is a highly virtual role, with some travel across the region as required. 

What can I achieve and what will I be responsible for whilst completing a placement at Pfizer?

You will report to the Global MArkeitng Lead for Customer Engagement and Tactical Innovation on defined strategic projects and support rollout to markets.

  • Working closely with the digital hub, agencies and countries to drive brand digital plans and their execution and analysis
  • Ensure strong country communication to gain insights and alignment for global strategy
  • Drive the Cross-functional Champions group to identify best practice and support the digital community of practice
  • Support rollout of identified best practices and project manage rollout across markets

When can I start?

Placements will start on 1st September 2020 and will run for 12 months.

  • Interest in marketing, sales and digital
  • Strong communication skills - verbal, written and presentation
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural matrix team environment
  • Confidence to liaise with Pfizer personnel at all levels
  • Ability to generate creative and innovative ideas
  • Enthusiasm and pro-active approach
  • IT literacy (in particular, a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential)
