The Data Analytics Group at Schlumberger Cambridge Research have a focus on operational data, are involved in applying techniques in data analytics and data science to automate the analysis of this data, in order to optimize the processes involved in Well Construction.
The group are seeking a software engineer, to be involved in activities related to building and supporting the data pipeline, deploying analytics workflows and algorithms at scale, and supporting the operational deployment of prototype algorithms. This role would suit a software engineer, with an interest in data engineering and data science, who is motivated by influencing large scale field operations.
Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science (recent graduate with less than 2 years of experience).
Alternatively Bachelors or Masters in any STEM Disciplines with 1 to 3 years programming experience.
