The role:

As Business Analyst you are responsible for the understanding of the current supply chain (domains, landscape, processes, data flows)identify future needs and identify solutions to help meet those needs in relation to people, processes, governance, information and software systems. This role is a new role and is positioned under the supervision of the Director Program and Change.

Your responsibilities will be:

You will demonstrate excellent understanding of the way the organization works and the sector it operates in, as you'll be helping the organization to develop its functions, services and products to meet goals with internal and external stakeholders.

You'll also play a key role in communicating between internal departments and external parties, acting as a 'translator' where necessary to convey how information technology can support the organization's needs.

As the liaison between business and IT you will elicit business needs and translate these into potential solutions, with program objectives, project results and initiatives in mind.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • A good 6+ years of relevant and demonstrable experience as a business analyst
  • A master or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
  • An understanding what incorporating maturity (CMM) in your advice means
  • Knowledge about BA tooling and techniques (e.g. BABOK)
  • Cloud / SaaS knowledge (knowing what and where to look for)
  • The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects
  • Relevant working experience in a Agile/Scrum environment.
  • The ability to talk and present to a range of audiences, often acting as a translator between parties
  • A strong drive to define solutions, with a positive attitude to change
  • Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
  • A strong interest in business and business development
  • A good understanding of information technology

And with the personal characteristics of being analytic, highly driven, hands-on, self-learning, out of the box thinking.
