About the opportunity

Lloyds Online Doctor is the first on-line Doctor that is transforming the UK Healthcare industry. Pioneering the use of Agile techniques across both business and technology teams, we deliver safe and efficient online medical services to patients that really make a difference to their lives.

Reporting to the Infrastructure & Operations Manager, the 1st Line IT Support Analyst will be the first point of contact to all colleagues on any IT support related queries; maintaining and supporting office-based resources from laptops and desktops to software installation and general technical office infrastructures.

You will be accountable for maintaining Help-Desk tickets, assisting users from simple day to day problems using MS Office suite, up to supporting with the development of production environments. Within this very hands-on role, its important that you are confident with cabling installation, re-installation of operating systems (Windows) and various application.

This opportunity is perfect for a Junior IT Support Analyst looking to join a pioneering Healthcare company, using the latest artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to transform the UK industry.

About You:

Customers and patients are at the heart of everything we do. So, first and foremost, you’ll be the kind of person who enjoys supporting a multidisciplinary team of Doctors, Clinicians and IT Developers, all working together for the same goal.

You will be confident in your Windows Desktop capability (7 through to Windows 10) with an awareness and interest in Linux – CentOS and Red Hat. Experience in Anti-Virus management, VPN setup/configuration and developing process and procedures to demonstrate due diligence for ISO/ Caldicott compliance is to be expected.

Previous exposure to scripting or programming to automate routine tasks (PowerShell, Bash and Perl scripting), alongside securing key business assets using commercial grade backup solutions is highly desirable.
