We are currently seeking our next Intern to join the EMEA Graduate Recruitment Team, based out of Amsterdam. A bit about the team

We are a small team of three who cover a massive remit! Last year we processed over 20,000 applications, ran 5 Assessment Centres and hired 360 graduates and undergraduates into positions across Europe, Middle East and Africa. We manage recruitment for 7 graduate programmes - Elevator, Finesse Finance, MDP Operations, MDP Engineering and EDGE Revenue Management - and numerous Internships, both corporate and operational. As a team, we are passionate about attracting future generations of leaders into the business and life is certainly never dull!

A bit about the job

As an intern, you will be an integral part of the team and will play an active role in our continued success. Some of the more specific responsibilities you will be taking on are detailed as follows;

  • Liaising with Hotels and Universities to manage recruitment for hotel-based Interns in the UK
  • Responding to a range of candidate enquiries regarding Internships and Graduate programmes
  • Attending Graduate Recruitment fairs and careers events, and engaging directly with students to promote graduate opportunities at Hilton
  • Carrying out a range of administrative activities including (but not limited to); tracking departmental expenditure, cross charging, ordering promotional collateral, administering online tests to candidates and scheduling interviews as required.
  • Attending and supporting with the organisation of our industry leading graduate Assessment Centres.
  • Supporting with ad hoc recruitment related projects as required.
  • Driving traffic via our Social Media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Producing reports and management information as required.

What are we looking for?

As with any job, we do have certain criteria that you will need to meet in order to be considered for this amazing opportunity. These are detailed as follows;

  • Must be studying towards an undergraduate degree at the point of application.
  • Must be able to start in June or July 2020 and available for the full 12 months.
  • Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands. If you are a non-EU national, then you will need to be studying at a Dutch university in order to be eligible to undertake an internship here.
  • Good understanding of Social Media, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent attention to detail, and able to maintain high levels of accuracy when working to tight deadlines.
  • Super organised, and able to balance multiple workstreams concurrently
  • A high level of English fluency, both written and spoken.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate articulately and professionally with individuals from a range of cultures and backgrounds.
