Our solution is used by thousands of retailers worldwide and growing at a fast pace. For our DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and Eastern Europe region, we are looking for an Area Manager who knows how to make our retail customers even more successful with our 3D Solution. You will work both from the HQ in Almere (NL) and a lot in the field and you make sure that all SafeSize users are using our scanners and software correctly and as frequently as possible. The right usage will lead into increased sales, satisfied customers and more successful commercial KPIs.

If you currently are a Retail Area Manager, a (Flagship) Store Manager or an Sales Account Manager in Fashion / Sport / Footwear industry looking to move into a tech scale up, this is your chance!

What you'll do :

  • Organize and provide training for new and existing users / train-the-trainer (with regards to implementations, and maintenance)
  • Monitor retail KPIs for customers within allocated customer group
  • Make action plan and execute on underperforming customers; learn from overperforming customers (best practices)
  • Report commercial opportunities to relevant Account Manager
  • Give feedback on best practices and improvement tasks to be translated into elements for Product Backlog
  • Support in product categorization of Global Shoe Database
  • Support Account Management and Marketing in trade fairs etc
  • Develop new training materials, make sure existing materials are up-to-date
  • Solve basic technical issues on location when required

Job requirements

What you'll need :

  • 2-4 years related experience in sales, account management or related field in retail
  • How are you going to make our customers love you and our product? By having charisma, outstanding communication and presentation skills and a kick a** product!
  • Experience in retail is vital, extra points for sports retail or footwear retail
  • Tech savviness could help you out a lot here, but if you are not, intrinsic interest and willingness to learn are also a plus. Comfortable with software such as; Slack, Zoom, Jira, Freshdesk etc
  • Hands-on mentality, pro-active, social person, love to solve problems with patience and empathy, passion for helping and teaching
  • Great organizational skills and are able to drive many different initiatives with many different customers effectively
  • You need to train a lot of people - so any experience in this is welcome
  • Strong analytical, assessment and problem-solving skills
  • You love to travel, so that’s why this job fits you so good - you will be traveling in the region for 20-40% of your working time
  • Fluent in German and English (Polish is aplus)
  • We need you to be flexible, after all as you know, the retail world doesn’t stop working on Friday at 5 p.m
