Your role

In this role, you will work in a team implementing and advising on our market-leading RegTech solution for supervisory and regulatory reporting – Abacus360. Over 200 institutions worldwide currently use our solution to comply with regulatory requirements as set by European and Dutch authorities (like EBA, ECB and DNB)

As a (Junior) Consultant your daily activities will consist ofsupporting our client’son-site with the implementation of our RegTech solutions. On occasion,, you will also participate in the development of new software requirements, e.g. in the event of of new or changed regulations. This will provide you with in-depth insights and knowledge of regulatory (reporting) requirements, the financial industry and -products, as well as software development- and implementation projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Implementing our Abacus RegTech solution at customers in the financial sector;
  • Working closely with customers and advising them on configuration, data requirements and the software functionality to meet their business needs;
  • Training new members of the team;
  • Researching new and upcoming developments in financial and supervisory reporting;
  • Defining and testing functional software requirements to comply with local supervisors;
  • Supporting business development (e.g. support sales meetings, proposals, solution visions).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent;
  • A young professional with 0-3 years of work experience, preferably in the financial services segment (i.e. insurance or banking), candidates with other  experiences with an eagerness to enter the industry are encouraged to apply;
  • Knowledge of financial products and regulatory reporting or risk management is  preferred; ;
  • Strong analytical skills required;
  • IT affinity and basic knowledge of relational database structures are  preferred;
  • Willingness to travel domestically and within Europe (less than 20%);
  • Excellent communication skills in English spoken and written; Dutch  is favored
