What is PAS Mobility at EY?

The future of work means a global workforce and continual change. So, as part of the Tax team’s People Advisory Services (PAS), we look at how relocating and moving employees around the world can affects their tax positions in the various jurisdictions, and work with our other PAS colleagues to ensure a holistic and consistent approach to managing their global workforce.

What will you be doing?

  • Working specifically in the Specialist Inbound team of Mobility providing compliance and advisory services to our Japanese/Chinese/Korean clients.
  • Communicating both with our clients as an initial point of contact, as well as with our colleagues from around the globe, in particular with our tax teams in India.
  • You will be allocated your own set of clients for whom you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of our services.

Are you eligible to apply?

You’ll need a minimum of Level 2/GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language & Maths, three A-levels, 5 Highers or equivalent, and an honours degree (in any subject) by the time the programme starts.

You will also need to be fluent in Japanese or Mandarin.

How’s it structured?

Your development is our priority so after an EY induction, you’ll join your team in either Financial Services (FS) or UK & Ireland (UK&I) and start working on client projects from day one.

All grads in PAS - Mobility study for the Association of Tax Technicians qualification and, if you pass and are keen, you can start to study for a Chartered Tax Advisor qualification. You may even get the opportunity to start studying for a master’s degree later in the programme, too.

Throughout the programme, you’ll have lots of support and training opportunities, as well as options to learn from senior colleagues. In the workplace you’ll take on greater responsibilities, so that by the end of the programme you’re likely to have enough knowledge and experience to find yourself receiving a promotion.
