We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Operational Pricing experience (Offer/Price Management/ Contracts/Tender management) for a regional level role managing projects and driving the implementation of change and transformation within the pricing function. A Day in the Life

Pricing PMO EMEA is seeking a Project Manager to support & drive internal optimization & change initiatives which optimize the Pricing function & have touch-points cross-functionally; in addition to implementation responsibility for initiatives across EMEA. The ideal candidate will be a self -starter who can navigate their way through the business to get things done while remaining open to change with the capacity to adapt their approach to the situation at hand. They will have an ability to manage the implementation of highly complex initiatives, staying results focused to ensure commitments are being met and open items are actively addressed.

The geographical scope of the role is EMEA & reporting line to the EMEA Pricing PMO Lead. We are looking for candidates with past experience in operational Pricing, Contracting & Tendering or Sales Operations, alternatively Business Process analysts/specialists with a minimum of 3 or more years of recent work experience, ideally in a multinational environment. Previous Implementation experience and/or Project Management qualifications are essential. The position is office based in a European location (Medtronic office based predominantly) and will require some travel within EMEA.

KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Activities will include (but not limited to) requirements gathering, prioritization of requirements, solution design input Testing, Implementation Tracking & Monitoring
  • Planning, Execution, Testing & Implementation of designated Projects across the EMEA region
  • Develop full scale project plans for designated projects/support function within other larger initiatives.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Track project deliverables using required tools and tracking mechanisms
  • Create reports/analytics to show project progress, problems and solutions
  • Provide full status updates on project/initiative status to PMO Lead, Global & Regional Qbrs & Pricing Senior Leadership proactively and on request
  • Deliver Project evaluations and assessment of results to meet deadlines
  • Complete analysis, KPIs & Reporting deliverables across a range of initiatives.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & familiarity with Project Management tools

Must Haves

  • 5 + years experience in an Operational Pricing, Contracting & Tender Mgmt role
  • 3+ years experience Project Mgmt & Implementation experience on European level
  • Proven leadership experience in driving internal process improvements & implementation
  • Fluent in English is essential pre-requisite for the role (oral & written), other European languages are a distinct advantage
  • 3 + years in a Project optimisation/transformation implementation role (highly desirable)

  • PRINCE2, PMP or other Project Methodology training/Certification – a distinct advantage
  • University Degree education
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & familiarity with Project Management tools

  • Working knowledge of SAP and/or Vendavo systems - highly beneficial
