At Bayer we are looking for a customer & patient focused, communicative and innovative Product Owner Online Marketing to activate our digital channels. Do you want to develop not only a digital marketing strategy, but also ensure for a successful implementation then we are looking for you.

In this position at Bayer, you have a clear focus on digital customer needs and behavior. You are a digital trend watcher, and you are able to translate business strategies into digital tactics. Your main tasks and possibilities will be:

  • Develop the digital marketing strategy in close co-operation with the Multichannelmarketing manager Benelux. Advise the Multichannelmarketing manager Benelux and Marketing department in order to integrate digital in all brand plans in the determined channel mix. Here you have a clear focus on achieving the pre-defined goals and corresponding KPI’s in line with the specific brand strategy.
  • Share insights, coming from qualitative and quantitative analyses of current digital initiatives, with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal resource allocation for digital initiatives.
  • Take co-responsibility and co-ownership in the role as project responsible regarding digital campaigns and/or assets together with the Multichannelmarketing manager Benelux and Marketing department.
  • Fulfill an end-to-end project management role for internally developed digital initiatives (e.g. healthcare professional portals, e-mail campaigns, content library) to ensure flawless development and implementation.
  • Monitor on cross-division level all online campaigns in order to communicate in a consistent and trustworthy digital way with our customers.
  • Play a role as back-end content strategist by recommending how to use the digital channels to handle all content in efficient and powerful ways.
  • Share internal and external digital best practices, trends and insights to engage all type of customer segments. Provide digital subject matter expertise for Bayer Pharmaceuticals.

Who you are

  • Bachelor level degree
  • You master advanced strategical and practical digital knowledge (e.g. knowledge and expertise regarding websites & web analytics, e-mail platforms, mobile initiatives and social media)
  • Extensive project management experiences (scope, time and budget)
  • Hands-on experience with web technologies and digital practices
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
