Gracenote’s European Sales Analysis department drives market research and sales/client development. The Business Sales Analysis Intern will work with the Sales team to research the local market in your native country. 

In the first 3 months, you would have completed thorough research in your target market establishing target companies and contacts within. 

You would have developed a plan for a “go to market” strategy for music, video, and sports with marketing objectives included.  The following 3 months would involve seeing your plan in action, by implementing the go-to-market strategy and building professional relationships and support sales operations within the country. 

We are looking for bright, eager students with an interest in media products, technologies, and business development to intern with us.  Successful candidates will be creative, motivated, detail-oriented and flexible, and must be able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 


Business Sales Analysis tasks may include:

  • Market research in your native country
  • Find contacts in companies
  • Approach companies
  • Participate in meeting 
  • Key Market trends + Impact on company
  • External market analysis in-line with research guidelines to create overview and the basis for go to market strategy for the territory
  • Preparation of a shortlist of potential leads and a roadshow with demo days at the various leads contacted.
  • Prepare a local marketing communication strategy
  • Lead generation 
  • Customer relationship management across company hierarchies

Education & Skills;

  • Master student within Business, Communication, Sales, Marketing, Business development related field
  • Fluent in English + Native speaker in 1 or more of the following languages: Dutch, German, French, Italian, Czech, Hungarian, Swedish, Norwegian, Finish, Spanish, Romanian, Bulgarian, Polish, Portuguese, Serbian, Croatian, Danish, Ukrainian 
  • Available for 3 or 6 months, 3 months remotely, 3 months location Amsterdam
  • Strategic thinker; can manage long-term and cross-product issues.
  • Detail-oriented and able to spot trends when performing tasks
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Market research
  • Confident (able to approach and speak to people)
  • Analytics-driven
