Description

The Amazon Business team is dedicated to developing solutions that make it easy for business customers to buy on Amazon.co.uk through an Amazon Business account. Business Development Reps balance their time between supporting new business customers and assisting existing customers through the early stages of Amazon Business customer journey via account tours, feature enablement, and scoping long-term growth potential. Customers that require additional support for growth will be transferred to an Account Manager.

The candidate will work closely with customers to understand their procurement requirements and then work with internal Amazon teams to determine the best solution to addresses the business needs. The ideal candidate will have experience prospecting top-down contacts and engaging and handing off accounts.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Initiate prospecting and lead generation activities

· Assisting customers with Registration and presenting registered customers with Amazon Business account tours

· Educating and networking with key prospect and customer contacts

· Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical and Category Management teams.

· Drive customer satisfaction

· Work closely with Account Representatives, Marketing, Customer Service and other key internal Amazon stakeholders

Basic qualifications

· Bachelor's degree

· Sales experience (part-time, internship, etc)

Preferred qualifications

· Highly Target/Results driven

· Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals

· Proven ability to influence others

· Strong ownership, bias for action and willingness to role-up your sleeves

· Active listener and effective communicator

· Strong discipline in maintaining high volumes of sales activity

· Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, CRMs (e.g. Salesforce.com) and other systems

Eligible candidates will be invited to attend an online assessment and successful candidates will be invited to attend a video interview. The final stage of the selection process will be a full day assessment centre based at one of Amazon’s offices. This selection process is subject to change but you will be notified if any changes are made.
