Through connecting solar players on a global scale, we play a vital role in accelerating the renewable energy transition. As a business developer at Solarplaza you will be responsible for reaching out to leading solar companies and deepening the relationship with existing partners. With the overall goal to create a foundation for successful events. You will develop engaging value propositions to maximize the (financial) impact for each stakeholder.

Solarplaza organizes high-level events and trade missions - focused on solar and related renewable energy topics - in both established and emerging solar energy markets across the globe. With a track record of 130+ events and a network that truly spans the entire world, our mission is to positively impact the world by accelerating the renewable energy transition by facilitating knowledge-sharing at our events and through our content.
Where you come in
Creating the financial foundation for successful conferences and trade missions, by identifying and involving companies as sponsors and partners of these events. Develop an event-based value proposition to optimize turnover per event and, simultaneously, maximize the ROI and experience of sponsors.

Solarplaza International BV is a Dutch company, based in the Groothandelsgebouw in Rotterdam. Organizing solar energy events all around the world is our focus, ranging from established conferences in Europe, Asia and America, to pioneering conferences and exploratory trade missions in emerging markets. Our track record contains over 130 events, in over 25 different countries on 6 continents.Our mission is to accelerate the sustainable energy transition. We want to empower industries and emerging countries that support this transition and stimulate renewable energy market development with a focus on solar energy and related power infrastructure topics. This year we are celebrating our 15-year anniversary, (non-fossil) fueled by an average annual growth of around 30%.Our current team consists of 45+ young, ambitious, and highly-educated people.
