As an intern here, you’ll work with the IT solution manager to review what our clients’ need in terms of IT, and help to deliver a product or service that helps them.

You could be helping to build a functional specs document, making sure the technical specs match up, carrying out tests or analysing and prioritising errors and problems and agreeing solutions. You’ll also help with managing the release and post-implementation. This will test your project management skills to the full as you could be securing sign offs and approvals, monitoring status and activities of the project, scheduling the release, organising resources and coordinating teams. Whatever your day-to-day role, you’ll gain a valuable insight into what it takes to deliver outstanding IT solutions for key clients.

Requirements

We’re looking for high achievers who are expecting a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in an IT-related subject. This will have given you knowledge of SQL, an understanding of IT/SDLC processes and the proven ability to write functional specs, use cases and test cases. A confident communicator and excellent organiser, you’ll combine a proactive and enthusiastic attitude with strong influencing, negotiation and problem solving skills. You’ll also need to be able to work on your own and as part of a team, and must be eligible to work in the UK.
