Communications

A creative and organised communications or business studies student is required to join the team at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars to play an integral role in the Head Office communications team, based at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood. Working alongside the UK & Western Europe Communications Manager, the emphasis will be on automotive, lifestyle, influencer and media activities

What awaits you?

The role has a broad range of responsibilities, supporting the UK & Western Europe Communications Manager and the wider Corporate Communications team in a variety of communications-related tasks. These include assisting with:

• Drafting external communications materials

• Media relations with international automotive, luxury and lifestyle media

• Social media and Digital PR

• Delivering a variety of automotive and lifestyle media events

• Product communication

• Business communication

• Budgeting and accounting

• Reputation risk management, issues management, crisis communications

• Management of agencies and contractors

• Research and analysis

Qualifications and Experience

• Studying towards an undergraduate degree or equivalent, ideally in one or more of the following: public relations, corporate communications, business studies or marketing communications

• Fluent English

• Good German language skills would be an advantage but not imperative

• Excellent writing and presentation skills, across a wide range of media

• Excellent administration/project management/organisational/IT skills

• Target driven with proven ability to deliver on time, to budget when under pressure

• Fluency in all current and developing social media platforms

• Passion for automotive and luxury brands
