We are looking for a Project Manager Search & Evaluation – Leiden (NL)

Scope of the job

As a Project Manager Search & Evaluation (SEAL) you will coordinate the SEAL projects and be the central driver to all project organization, timeline and stakeholder management, and tracking progress towards deliverables.

Your role

  • Regularly review databases such as CiteLine, Global Data, Clinicaltrials.gov for new opportunities
  • Set priorities together with SEAL team
  • Track all opportunities in Sharepoint database
  • Collect all information such as presentations, legal documents, publications, etc, regarding individual opportunities in Sharepoint database
  • Manage access to internal and external databases
  • Initiate and assist with setting up legal documents CDAs, MTAs, non-binding term sheets, and contracts
  • Organize TCs and meetings both internally and between external and internal parties
  • Initiate travel arrangements of Galapagos SEAL team and potential partners
  • Make sure all stakeholders are regularly updated
  • Assist with making presentations on opportunities to be presented at different Galapagos for a
  • Assist in preparing term sheets together with business development

Requirements

Who are you?

  • MSc or PhD in life sciences or pharmaceutical sciences
  • More than 3 years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry post graduation
  • Experience in project management in a scientific organization
  • Scientific background in one or more of the following fields: fibrosis, inflammation, osteoarthritis, polycystic kidney disease
  • Well-organized, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent English writing and speaking skills
  • Familiar with legal and business documentation such as CDAs, MTAs, term sheets
  • Familiar with sharepoint and databases
  • Preferably worked in licensing teams before
