Our team and mission
The JUICE Flight Control Team is responsible for operating the JUICE spacecraft during its mission to Jupiter and its moons once it launches in May 2022. In the current phase, we are preparing the ground segment that will be required to control and monitor the spacecraft. This includes following the development of the Mission Control System, the Spacecraft Simulator and the Mission Planning System. We are also preparing the Flight Operations Plan and will soon be carrying out test and validation activities on the Engineering Model of the spacecraft as well as the Flight Model.

You will be integrated with the JUICE Flight Control Team, participating in activities for ground segment implementation and operations preparation in advance of the launch. This will include the following:

You should have just completed, or be in the final year of a university course at Master's level (or equivalent) in a technical or scientific discipline.
Additional requirements
Basic knowledge of space technology, physics and/or software development would be an asset.
The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.
You should demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
