We are now recruiting for a Technical Account Manager - Retail & Hospitality working out of our Rotterdam office. By working closely alongside a set of key clients in the retail and hospitality sector, you will provide overarching management of the technical relationship and add valuable insight using their industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

You will:

· serve as the primary point of contact for several of our key clients for all technical aspects of the relationship. You will ensure that LR deliver industry leading customized solutions and services to our clients

· be accountable for monitoring and delivery of our client KPIs through close collaboration with other teams within LR, working as a focal point between commercial, assessor, technical and finance teams

· communicate at all levels within our clients business and present insightful, challenging information to overlay and add value on top of assessment results

· assist our clients in the development of customised 2nd party schemes, technical review and reporting processes to ensure we maintain a high quality standard.

· perform assessments, propose specialist solutions and training to our key clients, within agreed budget and contractual requirements – where needed you will also be involved in the preparation of contractual agreements for these services.

· develop standardized working methods, tools and templates for managing our key clients with demanding needs and expectations. You will share information and best practices within LR to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application across all teams

· ensure consistency of audits by monitoring auditor performance and overseeing the induction of new assessors. You will manage and guide our clients on effective use of shadow/witness inspections within 2nd party schemes

· work with our clients to identify further opportunities and offer further LR services where appropriate

Qualifications:

· Shall possess a relevant Bachelor's degree in a food or science based subject from a recognized university or equivalent.

· Qualified as a Lead Assessor and ability to technically review audits

· Knowledge of complex global retail and hospitality operational structures and of managing change in those environments.

· Strong influencing, presentation and motivational skills at all levels within an organization

· Shall possess sufficient relevant previous working experience within the food and drink sector as a Technical Manager, environmental health office or equivalent sector experience.

· Management experiences in a Business to Business Sector (e.g. Industry) in the field of Quality, Environmental, or Health & Safety.
