Garment Technology Intern

Ready to join a team of expert Garment Technologists? Our Garment Technology team ensure that ASOS products don't just look great, they perform too. As a Garment Technology Intern you will support the team to ensure the fit and quality of our products is the best it can be for our customers.

What you’ll be doing…

Our Garment Technology Interns provide support to our Garment Technology team. This involves managing the critical path to ensure the timely processing of development samples and sealers, monitoring test reports and ensuring all products meet the minimum standards of quality required by ASOS. You will attend fit sessions, taking notes and measuring samples and models. You will also analyse customer returns and suggest action plans as a result. You’ll also manage ethical risk through the supply chain, always complying with the guidelines and processes set out in the ASOS quality manual.

We’d love to meet, someone with…

  • Experience of working with a high street retailer
  • Great organisational skills, efficient time management and the ability to prioritise tasks – these are fast paced departments!
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business and with suppliers via email, in person and over the phone
  • An interest in the technical aspects of the fashion industry. I.e. construction, fit, quality, etc
  • An understanding of fashion retail as a commercial business
  • A love and understanding for fashion
  • An interest in learning about test reports
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, power point packages and the ability to quickly take on and effectively utilise in house computer systems
