What We Do

The Global Financial Crimes Division is MUFG Bank’s independent risk management and oversight function for Financial Crimes compliance globally.

Examples of our work include:

  • Develop and maintain the Banks financial crimes policies, standards and risk appetite
  • Implementing new regulations, often as part of major projects
  • Actively monitor and understand the global regulatory landscape, build strong working relationships with regulatory bodies, respond timely and effectively to regulatory inquiries
  • Advise businesses and functions to ensure effective risk identification, measurement, and mitigation strategies to protect the Bank
  • Ensuring that confidential information held by the bank is protected and only used for legitimate purposes

What To Expect

Our Analyst Program is tailored to meet the individual needs of each of our Analysts. So, you will take part in a bespoke program designed to enable you to develop the knowledge and skills you need to become a successful banking professional in your chosen field

Our 18 month Analyst Programme starts with a comprehensive training program designed to develop a sound understanding of our product lines, our clients & our business strategies.

Equipped with newfound knowledge, you’ll start with the desk where you’ll gain hands-on work experience. Right from day one, you’ll become an integral member of the team and will be given meaningful work to complete, allowing you to start building your experience and expertise within your chosen field.

As a part of a select intake, you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry. We’re highly team-driven, but you’ll still find plenty of opportunity to shine as an individual.
