WHO YOU ARE

As a person you are passionate about people and dedicated to contribute to great candidate’s and co-worker’s experience by means of excellent recruitment, selection & on-boarding processes. You act as an ambassador for the IKEA culture and values and enjoy working with strategic, tactical and operational tasks in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment.

You know how to implement long-term plans and follow set goals. You confidently explore and use psychometric tools and assessments in candidate recruitment and/or co-worker performance & development situations. You have also knowledge about country legal requirements associated with recruitment and selection. You forecast, analyse and create a plan for the talent needs for key positions in IKEA and also hire talent on assignments and projects in an agile way to meet the demands of the rapidly changing business environment. You identify yourself with the IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, to ensure right representation.

You are experienced in leading people and are capable to implement change with your general leadership capabilities and strong communication skills. You also have the capacity to handle multiple priorities, initiatives, interfaces and tasks. You know how to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility. You express your ideas and opinions effectively with ability to influence and inspire. You demonstrate deep knowledge of the IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, to ensure right representation.

For this role we believe you need leadership experience and/or 3-5 years of experience working within the field of Recruitment and Sourcing. Preferably within a (international) retail organization.

Also you have a good knowledge of sourcing channels and how to communicate through these channels. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

In the role as Recruitment & Sourcing Specialist, you support the process around recruitment for the country organization in order to source, attract & recruit talented candidates to fill job vacancies based on IKEA values.

You will:

• Support matrix partners and unit organisation recruitment strategies while proactively monitoring and reporting recruiting needs and results

• Secures that all Employer Branding and Recruitment messages are in line with the country EVP strategy

• Screens, interviews and prepares candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline and therefore creates an outstanding candidate experience from initial candidate contact to job offer

• Executes local initiatives in the Market Area linked to Employer Branding including managing partnerships with local stakeholders, and planning and participating in events e.g. career fairs

• Executes sourcing strategies that address future business needs and objectives through innovative and multichannel methods
