The position for the role of HR Business Partner Intern at the Corporate Office of Heineken is now available to start in February 2020 for a period of 6 months. In this role, you report to the Senior HR Business Partner of Global Commerce and participate in the rollout of global initiatives within the Heineken Global Commerce department.

Besides working on various HR related projects in different fields of interest (e.g. Learning & Development, Performance Management, and Recruitment), you also experience a close connection to the business; giving you the best overall experience of HR at a Corporate Office.

Your responsibilities

  • Besides your supervisor, you support two other HR Business Partners (responsible for e.g. Heineken Experience, AMEE Export, and Corporate Affairs) with operational processes and different projects;
  • Provide management information to managers (on recruitment, the performance management process, different types of leave etc.);
  • Participating in projects within a wide scope of HR e.g. Learning & Development, Succession Planning, or Employee Engagement;
  • Manage the Commerce departments organogram;
  • Drive our Performance Management process (e.g. top talent meetings, analysis of the outcome, Mid-Year Review, data checks);

Your working environment

This role is based at the Corporate Office in the centre of Amsterdam. The HR Corporate Office department supports all employees in Amsterdam, and includes multiple HR Business Partners, a People Development Team, Legal Advisors, a Reward Specialist, a Mobility Specialist and a Talent Acquisition Lead.

Your profile

  • You are a student at WO/Master level in a relevant field of study, such as HR, organizational development, or business administration etc.;
  • You have to be enrolled at a Dutch or European university for the entire duration of the internship and have a European nationality;
  • You are available for 6 months, 5 days per week;
  • You have a good knowledge of the Dutch Labour Law and preferably Labour Market;

The ideal candidate also has/is:

  • Passionate about people and organizational development and has knowledge on these topics;
  • A pragmatic person with a can-do and hands-on mentality;
  • The quality of being an analytical thinker and works accurately;
  • Flexibility in being able to prioritize tasks/projects, and is aware of stakeholder management;
  • Interest in an International environment that is ad-hoc and is the hub of a multinational organization;
  • Good communication skills: written, spoken and interpersonal;
  • Fluent in English and preferable Dutch.
