Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity available for EMEA Lead Pulses and Food Additives to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The role of EMEA Lead Pulses and Food Additives lies within the EMEA zone, within Procurement. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into Head of ingredients EMEA. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. The delivery of savings and build sustainable supplier relationships will be your primary responsibility. You’re constantly looking for improvement activities within Procurement.

In brief, you will be responsible for;

  • Define and drive European Sourcing Strategy on corresponding portfolio and align with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Marketing Finance, Global Procurement)
  • Responsibility of cluster (4 categories); high number of items and high complexity of sourcing due to for example trade tariffs, customs issues etc,
  • Heading a team with 1 direct reports (1 FTE)
  • Have commercial and financial responsibility of two portfolio’s (multiply subcategories categories)
  • Actively follow the agriculture markets and define the correct cover strategy in order to manage price risks, including LCC, develop alternative supply options
  • Identify value-engineering opportunities and ensure that these are implemented in factories on time
  • Develop supplier partnerships to identify and develop ongoing total cost reductions
  • Actively support in various new development projects in corresponding portfolio to contribute to company's top line growth
  • Run regional tenders
  • Financial budgeting and reporting on price purchasing variance running detailed analysis on budget prices, real prices, volumes, contract coverage, Forecast, Cash)
  • Covering additional upstream spend (copack)

  • Academic education is a MUST
  • Has up to five years procurement experience; preferable in raw materials
  • Proven success rate in creating and executing successful procurement strategies
  • You have a vision and are able to translate this into concrete initiatives in commercial savings and value engineering opportunities
  • Has a broad based knowledge and understanding of raw material markets,
  • Is a teamplayer who is able to create a collaborative environment to has buy-in for difficult business decisions
  • Experience with working across international timelines and communities;
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams
