What are we looking for?

As the successful Sales Strategy Intern, you will ultimately be responsible for support the Group Manager of Sales Reporting & Insights in delivering accurate and applicable reporting and analysis. This position will deliver key information and reporting methods of sales performance through established complex data outputs from business warehouse.

This includes:

  • Providing regular and ad hoc analysis to management and preparing presentations covering a variety of commercial, market and business topics will form a large part of this role.
  • The role will involve liaising with the sales force (Area and Regional Business Managers), sales directors, senior management, executive management, IT and colleagues in HQ Munich to ensure relevance and to develop existing processes.
  • Support with reports and user queries
  • Support with ad hoc sales reporting and establish routine reporting
  • Liaise re sales deductions, Net TO & profitability
  • Obtaining data from SAP
  • Work with all other team components; mainly market analysis
  • Develop new reporting solutions and support with complex queries

  • Ability to summarise large quantities of data creating management overviews
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
  • Disciplined and analytical approach
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Specific Knowledge

  • Knowledge of MS Excel (proficient and comfortable around spreadsheet creation, manipulation)
  • SAP experience preferable but not essential
  • MS PowerPoint and Dashboard creation
  • Good level of numeracy skills with strong commercial and financial awareness
