Overview
Are you active in the world of Payments or eCommerce and want to explore your possible next challenge within a fast-paced and dynamic environment? UL’s Identity Management & Security is looking to add a Technical Consultant to our Advisory department to contribute to payments innovations within traditional Payment Institutions as well as disruptive entrants.
UL advises clients in the rapidly changing world of in-store and online payments (e-commerce, m-commerce and in-app). We advise and support our clients when it comes to introducing new innovative payments solutions to the market. We are active in various phases of their project, from advising our clients during the design phase of the solution, assisting in vendor selections, impact assessments, producing technical documentation for the implementation phase, and when required guiding clients through the certification process.
You have experience in the payment domain from card based transaction to eCommerce and anything in between. You think of payments as an enabler but are always aware that this is a critical step in achieving a bigger customer action, and therefore this step should be as frictionless as possible. You are looking to work closely with clients to help them achieve a streamline payment processes, yet keeping the customer experience and the business financial security always in mind. You have a proven track record with some of the following topics: EMV (contact and contactless); card payment ecosystems (authorization systems based on ISO8583 standard, clearing and settlement and card issuing / authorization rules); mobile payments (eSE, HCE and TEE); Tokenization; eCommerce solutions; EMV 3DSecure v2.0; QR code payments; faster payment solutions (e.g. instant payments based on ISO 20022); Open Banking initiatives.
