WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
TNO recently developed an integrated risk management measure library (ECEL v2.0) as part of the CEFIC LRI B15.2 project. The library provides access to information on Risk Management Measures (RMM) such as exhaust ventilation systems and wetting & scrubber systems and their quantitative effectiveness during different conditions of use. In 2019, the library will be further developed to refine and upgrade various technical functionalities and to develop new features (ECEL v3.0).
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern – who will work on the occupational RMM module. As part of this initiative, you will conduct an extensive literature review and update the existing library with new data. You will gain experience in the whole process of refining and updating the library together with a diverse team of experts. Your internship will further involve a data analysis of the library with the support of our statistics team.
The work will involve the following:
After completion, this library will be hosted as an online webtool that will be rolled out for industry and the tool is expected to become an important information source for companies to compile dossiers under the European Chemicals policy (REACH).
This internship gives you the opportunity to play an important role in the CEFIC B15-3 project!
