Cummins are now recruiting for our 2020 intake of 12 month placements in the UK, which provide a meaningful opportunity for university students to accomplish real-world projects in a professional environment.

As the Sales Support Business Analyst placement, you will be an integral member of the Global Sales Support Function and support key projects that will enable us to maximize the value for our customers/stakeholders and the overall organisation. You will be working within a dynamic ever-changing environment while collaborating cross functionally with our primary stakeholders. Exciting opportunities for leading/supporting projects within our online sales platforms and tools will be provided.

Expand our channel for stakeholder engagement.Work effectively with internal stakeholder and business units to establish organisational goals.Use Six Sigma as a problem-solving methodology to drive continuous improvements.Support the maintenance of quality customer facing data within our sales platforms and tools.Lead a Corporate Responsibility initiative in partnership with our local Community partners in Kent.

Training provided

Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.

PowerZone (Oracle based CRM).

Power Suite (web-based sales tool application)

Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Sharepoint 365, OneNote.

Six Sigma methodologies and tools.

Various formal soft trainings will be delivered by professional bodies mandatory for the program.

Formal and informal coaching on personal development and business acumen skills.

Qualifications

  • Preferably studying for a Business, Marketing or Engineering degree although all skills sets will be considered.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent IT skills to include MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills

  • To be eligible for our 12 Month work placement you must be a university student who has a placement year option as part of their degree programme.
