Your Profile

  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills, who is curious by nature and takes ownership at work.

  • You embrace diversity in thoughts, opinions, and backgrounds and feel good working with many nationalities in a multicultural environment.
  • You (are willing to) live in the Netherlands and have the right to work within the EU.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closing the deal with existing and new resellers/operators.
  • Grow our European markets through new business development activities together with your team.
  • Build GoToMarket plans that reflect Fairphone’s mission together with our customers.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting for your customers.
  • Collaborate with our supply chain, finance, and other internal teams to coordinate delivery, payment and other key services.
  • Present the Fairphone story and the particularities our product portfolio at industry events and customer fairs.
  • Up to 20% travel.

Your Skills & Experiences

  • You have a minimum of 2 years experience in business development and/or account management, ideally in the consumer electronics industry in Europe.
  • You have a passion for sales and the smartphones industry.
  • You are a hands-on, organized and have great planning and interpersonal skills.
  • You identify yourself with Fairphone's mission, and are able to translate that well in your sales activities.
  • You have experiences with managing the complexity of selling to large organizations.
  • You understand target consumers, and the role of sales channels and marketing in our customers' businesses.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Dutch/French/Spanish/Italian is a plus!
