You are a seasoned DevOps engineer and have all the answers about Windows, *NIX, Puppet, Ansible and Chef. It’s not a question of whether you want to develop as a great engineer – you just want to know how you are going to get there.

What does a Solvineer do?

A day as a Solvinity engineer is filled with challenging customer projects: an exciting mix of managing, implementing and improving the technology solutions Solvinity has to offer. You will be part of a dedicated client team and are responsible for several clients with different environments. Together with other engineers and development teams, you will implement, manage and innovate your clients’ IT solutions. You will ensure the continuity of critical business applications and keep everything running like clockwork. You will assist other engineers and are not afraid to ask more experienced colleagues about the skills you want to develop. You want to broaden and deepen your capabilities. At Solvinity, that is what we call a T-shaped engineer.

Your growth

The projects you will work on will become increasingly complex and impactful for clients. You will grow through your in-depth contact with clients, suppliers and, of course, colleagues. We will keep you on top of things by providing you with interesting courses and training.

Requirements

Your profile

• A seasoned engineer with at least 4 years’ experience, be it in a hosting or product context;

• You can think and work at a bachelor/academic level;

• You know all about system administration in Windows or *NIX (preferably both!);

• You are great with OS administration as well as virtualised networking, load balancing and storage components;

• Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes and/or Chef hold no secrets for you;

• You know your way around public cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, GCE and Rackspace;

• You are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English;

• You like to talk to colleagues and clients about technology, innovations and smart solutions;

• You know how to work in an Agile team. Stand-ups and retros are a way of life for you;

• As a results-oriented team player with integrity, expertise and a high level of creativity, you are every team lead’s dream.
