We are recruiting to expand our Cricket team, which follows the sun around the globe working on the worlds biggest cricket events. ABOUT OUR CRICKET TECHNOLOGY »

The cricket department are responsible for delivering our ball-tracking and edge-detection technologies, as well as providing other officiating/broadcast enhancing technologies and statistical analysis to some of the biggest broadcasters in the world. This provides a genuine opportunity to create a direct impact on the biggest occasions in cricket; this could be providing an LBW call during the Test Championship Final at Lords in 2021; or telling the story of Ben Stokes' innings during the Cricket World Cup Final.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES »

  • Installation and setup of Hawk-Eye hardware in the lead up to matches, including setting up our cameras, calibrating the system and performing pre-match checks;
  • Liaise with key stakeholders from broadcasters companies, match officials and teams to ensure all contractual obligations are seamlessly delivered;
  • Monitoring and Operation of the Hawk-Eye ball-tracking system, edge-detection system and broadcast analysis during every ball of the match;
  • Providing quick resolutions for any technical issues;
  • Research and development into new projects;
  • Maintenance of kit and equipment needed to run the system.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU »

  • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • High standard of computer literacy with a strong technical skillset;
  • Ability to work under extreme pressure to tight deadlines;
  • An open-minded, flexible approach to work with a real eagerness to travel;
  • A keen knowledge of cricket with the ability to analyse the game in front of you;
  • Common sense and use of initiative, diligence, honesty, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and enthusiasm;
  • Buy-in to the Hawk-Eye ethic of hard work and going the extra mile to deliver a world class service to our customers;
  • Preferred upper second class honours degree in a scientific, technology, mathematics or engineering course;
  • A background or knowledge in audio engineering is beneficial;
  • Comfortable with driving a Class 7 vehicle. Goods vehicles over 3000kg.
