Position Summary

As a Graduate working within the Highways Digital Delivery/BIM team, you will work with a multi-discipline team to deliver Highways projects in line with the Employer’s Information Requirements and the UK Government’s Level 2 BIM mandate. The broad scope of work will consist of Information Management, coordinating intelligent 3D Project Information Models, data analysis, and supporting BIM tools and standards and the project teams. Training and guidance will be provided, and you will be enrolled into our Graduate Development Programme, which includes BIM related competencies. This is an exciting opportunity, working for a global and diverse business at the forefront of digital engineering, innovation, automation, and enabling better information and asset management.



•Information management, including assisting in maintaining the Common Data Environment.

•Ensuring the integrity and validation of the Project Information Model and asset data.

•Attending interdisciplinary design check meetings.

•Model progression management.

•Providing digital delivery related technical solutions.

•Providing input into and managing BIM related documentation.

•Supporting BIM tools, digital processes, and the project team.

Essential Criteria

•You will hold, or be working towards, a relevant degree subject and expecting a 2:1 as a minimum.

•A proactive approach to health, safety and wellbeing.

•An interest in the design and construction of highways schemes.

•Excellent analytical, technical and IT skills.

•Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

•Committed and capable of planning and managing tasks, costs and meeting deadlines.

•Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.

•Positive attitude and a passion for driving change and efficiencies.

Desirable Criteria

•Health and Safety training.

•Knowledge of Level 2 BIM standards.

•Familiarity with the benefits, uses and the impact of BIM on a project.

•Presentation/demonstration skills.

•Experience of design and coordination tools and document management systems.

Expected start date: September 2020
