Client Executive - Unilever, Total Store

Unilever is a huge account for Kantar Worldpanel UK (over £2m annually), the number 1 client for Kantar worldwide, and WPP’s second biggest client after Ford. Our vision is to help CMI to deliver transformational action within Unilever, working in partnership with them to help them achieve their goals.

An exciting role has opened up on the Unilever account with responsibility for the Food division. You will work on some well known and timeless brands like Hellmans, Marmite, Knorr and Colmans. We’re looking for someone for the day to day working on the account, working closely with the seniors to deliver actionable insights to support Unilever’s aims, to ensure happy clients and commercial success. CMI’s stated aim is to be seen as a destination account for agency staff and they work hard at ensuring the relationship with Worldpanel is rewarding for all parties – in practice this means they are extremely open and supportive client contacts, great at giving feedback when we do a good job and willing to work with us to deliver fantastic work.

Beyond the kudos of working on such a prestigious account and helping Unilever to unearth actionable insights to some of the most interesting business questions, there are some fantastic perks as well! KEY OUTCOMES

  • Day to day client servicing for the Foods team, including liaising with the clients on data requests, queries, training
  • 2 days a week on site at Unilever’s office in Leatherhead, focused on briefings, presenting back insights and forging strong working relationships with both Unilever and the other agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with others in the team and take responsibility for mentoring and supporting junior graduate placements
  • Work with the senior members of the team to develop relationships outside of CMI and build our credibility wider in the Unilever business.
  • Liaising with Europanel counterparts on global/regional data requests.
  • Ensure high level of servicing on the account with a view to maintaining excellent review scores e.g. day to day servicing, data accuracy, attention to detail, timeliness, proactivity, communication.

DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

  • The role will help you to develop your insight and commercial skills
  • Exposure to senior audiences at one of the largest FMCG organisations in the country.
  • Unilever is a very collaborative client and this gives access to other data sets to merge work and develop stories (Qualitative providers & Nielsen). You will also be actively encouraged to seek out opportunities to collaborate further across the Kantar network.
  • Regular involvement with Europanel, giving you visibility of how we work across the globe with Unilever.
  • As Unilever are a Founding Father for Worldpanel Plus, you will have the opportunity to work with this new and innovative data set.
  • Work streams within the Total Store division will enable you to contribute to the wider business and work with others in achieving the company’s goals and vision.

  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • An excellent working knowledge of key Worldpanel capabilities.
  • Enthusiasm to deliver insight to clients at all levels
