What is supply chain?
During our 18 month Supply Chain scheme you’ll help ABF take our
food products from ‘field to fork’. The Supply Chain is an intertwining network of departments; Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and Production Planning, to name but a few! Depending on which of our 8 businesses you work for, you can expect to do placements in any department within the chain. Ultimately no two placements or schemes are the same.
The food industry is an exciting place to be; constantly evolving, and reacting to new market trends. Through every unexpected challenge, you’ll help steer our products through the Supply Chain in the safest and most efficient way.
What will you be doing?

You will gain a great overview of the entire process of food manufacturing; from sourcing all of the ingredients and packaging, through to planning of production.
