Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is recruiting for a Graduate Project Controls Engineer to join our graduate programme in our centres of excellence based in Reading or Staines from September 2020.

Working within various multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to the delivery of the Project Controls function within an exciting range of challenging projects within the Oil and Gas industry. Our Reading office specialises in onshore/downstream projects whilst Staines provides technical expertise is the technical hub for our offshore/upstream projects.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in a technical subject that demonstrates a range of thought and application. Typically this might include Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Business Studies or Economics
  • Enthusiasm to work and develop your career in Project Controls within the Oil and Gas industry
  • Demonstrate initiative, tenacity and excellent communication skills
  • Possess an ability to learn quickly and be adaptable and flexible to match business requirements
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team environments
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
