Overview of the Programme:

As a Global Brands Commercial Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain experience working with some of our most exciting global brands with exposure to a range of key stakeholders. During the internship you will deliver project-based work across one of our exciting commercial brand teams ranging from developing best-in-class shopper marketing executions based on shopper data and insights, to supporting the commercial plans in one of our key accounts or helping to research and review new business development opportunities. Personal leadership is key as you will have individual ownership of your project. Brand Commercial connects with many functions across the organisation, so it is important to be comfortable working seamlessly within a matrix.

What we are looking for:

Our ideal candidate will be confident in building relationships with different stakeholders both internally and externally and have strong communication skills.

Alongside this you will need the skills to manage and prioritise your workload and respond to queries in a timely manner, as well as communicating with your Line Manager and team through regular one to one meetings.

  • Strong academic background on track for a 2.1 degree or above
  • Strong organisational skills and proven ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Has the courage and confidence to challenge and hold to account others
  • Excellent communication and ability to work with others
  • Is not afraid to challenge the status quo and welcomes change for the better with a positive ‘can do’ attitude

Location: Nottingham Support Office

Salary: £18,000 (pro rata)

Holiday: 25 days (pro rata)

Start Date: June 2020

Length of Placement: 10 Weeks (22nd June – 28th August 2020)

Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week
