Executive Assistant

About the Role

We are recruiting an Executive Assistant & Office Manager to join the team to provide exceptional secretarial, managerial and administration support to the Chief Executive and Deputy CEO.  The Executive Assistant also provides administrative support to the Board of Trustees as a member of the ‘Governance Team’, and oversees the smooth running of the Charity’s Head Office. This role requires the development of strong, effective and collaborative relationships both throughout the organisation and externally to inspire trust and confidence.This role will also be key to developing new processes and ways of working following our recent return to our refurbished head office, building relationships with a range of departments and external contractors, to ensure the smooth running of the office and an excellent working environment.

Job ScopeSecretarial and Administration Support: 

Maximises the working potential of the Chief Executive and Deputy CEO by providing proactive organisational and administrative support

Support to the Governance Team and Board of Trustees: 

supports the Governance Team with Board and Committee meeting preparation, ad hoc enquiries and coordinates communication with the Board

Office Management: 

Responsible for overseeing the smooth and effective running of the Charity’s Head Office.

Experienced in providing high-level support to an Executive team and providing office management supportHighly proactive with the ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyHighly developed problem solving skills, attention to detail and always one step aheadEnthusiastic, with excellent written and verbal communication skillsDriven by a challenging and varied role, working to tight deadlines and keen to take on additional responsibility, including leading on projects and events on an ad-hoc basis
