Description of department

The Loopgroup department is a department within Vanderlande that is responsible for engineering and executing loopsorter projects in the global markets for Airports, Warehousing and Parcel (sub)-systems. The department executes projects that vary from small system upgrades, to major complex systems, to small straightforward systems.

Because of the growing needs of our customers, sorters become bigger and more complex. For the Loopgroup It is a challenge to keep innovating and fulfil the customer needs to make sure we will have the best sorting solution in all situations.

Task / Responsibilities

· Investigate the needed power for the loopsorters

· Investigate the yearly consumption based on capacity (parcels per hour)

· Verify loopsorter power calculation model

Desired experience or knowledge regarding to power quality / power consumption.
