Carer / Health Care Assistant

Location: Henry Cornish Care Centre, Chipping Norton

Pay:

  • Days: Mon-Fri: £8.63, Saturday: £9.10, Sunday £10.92 per hour
  • Nights: Mon-Fri: £9.80, Saturday: £10.59, Sunday £12.71 per hour
  • 40p per hour enhancement for NVQ (QCF) Level 2 and above

Hours of work:26.5 Hours.Please note, we are able to offer days or nights, full, part time or bank (zero hour) contracts. Please specify which you would prefer on your application.

Shift Patterns:

Days: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm

Nights: 10pm - 7am

To include alternate weekends.

Henry Cornish Care Centre offers residential and respite care for up to 36 residents in a lovely home, built in local Cotswold stone. Opened in 2010, this attractive state-of-the-art home is situated within walking distance of the centre of Chipping Norton. A 14-bedroom Intermediate Care Centre adjoins the home which receives varied admissions from acute hospitals for rehabilitation of high-dependence individuals.

Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of people you are looking after. You will often be helping people with their personal needs as well as supporting them to go about their daily activities, but you will know what makes a difference to them and what helps to put a smile on their face.
