About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on your cities through the growth and optimization of the Benelux business and the driver-partner community associated with the Uber platform. This role calls for a combination of savvy analytics, project management, strategic thinking, strong execution and interpersonal ability.

The role requires developing an in-depth understanding of the Benelux rides business, and to be able to navigate the ever changing landscape to ensure Uber remains one step ahead in this rapidly evolving sector.

This requires a commitment to operational excellence, gaining a deep understanding of driver lifecycle and economics, and capacity for out-of-the-box thinking with a customer centric mindset to implement high impact initiatives to develop partner-driver engagement and growth. This role also calls for highly adaptable profiles that are keen to take on different issues and will demonstrate ability to push new initiatives, positively challenge the existing and make the role what they want it to be.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategy -- Develop and own a full roadmap of initiatives to increase rider & driver engagement and help empower fleet operators to optimise their business performance
  • Develop & Optimize Processes -- Scale new and existing processes to allow the business to efficiently operate and grow; analyze the business to track and improve metrics and profitability
  • Analytics -- Analysis of driver, partners, and customer metrics to properly position supply, guide incentive programs, and ensure high-quality experiences on the Uber system
  • Product Improvement -- Proactively search for new features which could improve a seamless driver, customer, and partner experience
  • Hustle & Creative Solutioning -- You will be constantly innovating to manage situations unique to your city
  • Project Management -- Manage workstream related projects and productivity across the region

What You'll Need

  • Fluency in English and Dutch or French is required
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in (strategy) consulting / investment banking / operations management
  • Can do attitude - we are a lean team and responsibilities may fall out of one's exact job description; we are looking for folks who are willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
  • Curious and eager to learn - you are interested in all things and can build up skills and knowledge very fast to become a recognized subject matter expert amongst your peers.
  • Ownership - High degree of ownership and ability to drive forward workstreams, independently
  • Analytical thinking - A data-driven mindset and the ability to translate data into actionable insights; keen eye for detail and ability to identify and troubleshoot problems that arise quickly
  • Problem solving - Embrace challenges, and stop at nothing to create solutions
  • Communication - Exceptional relation building and organizational skills as you work cross-functionally with remote teams
