About the role

Our EMEA Recruiting team is looking for a Program Manager to drive multiple projects and enhance the experience for everyone involved in hiring at Uber. The ideal candidate will move quickly as a builder and a do'er, proactively partnering with stakeholders to ensure we continue hiring the most inclusive and high performing team. The Program Manager sees the world through people, processes and technology to continue innovating in our Hiring practices.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Director, EMEA Recruiting in annual regional planning, strategic priorities and bi-annual roadmaps
  • Build powerful partnerships with cross-functional teams in Tech, Operations and Corporate in close partnership with our Recruiting and People Leadership Teams
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and/or projects with multiple workstreams that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders
  • Lead and manage a range of EMEA projects through planning, development, launch, stabilization and close
  • Manage and escalate project risks and issues as appropriate, and establish success metrics for projects and ensure performance is tracked and measured
  • Investigate ways to improve existing processes and fix pain points through automation, streamlining, and shared servicesMeasure the outcomes and outputs of projects and process improvement endeavors and leverage quantitative results to inform direction of the business
  • Support the creation of quarterly business reviews that can accurately capture performance by using SLAs and KPI

What You'll Need

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Program Management, Consulting or Strategy and Planning navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • A knack for understanding complex business opportunities and being able to operationalize solutions; being able to create comprehensive frameworks and plans to drive towards execution
  • Ability to coach and develop project management skills and lead project teams through execution
  • Experience telling a story and getting relevant and actionable information out of complex data sets
  • Strong interpersonal skills allowing to influence and align senior leadership and stakeholders groups
  • Self-driven and able to independently lead multiple projects with minimum supervision
  • Grit and determination to tackle challenges as they come up
  • Strategic mindset of thinking a few steps ahead of where the team is now**
