Job Description

Combine your experience in sales, training and passion for healthcare by becoming Sales Trainer Medical Devices at Applied Medical Europe. In this position, you will be act as a facilitator for the training that we provide to our international Field Implementation (sales) teams. Based in Amersfoort (the Netherlands), you will train new and current team members on products, procedures, commercial skills and in other areas. In addition, you help to improve existing training content and develop the training curriculum. This fulltime position will give you the opportunity to take initiatives and make sure that our teams have the product knowledge and commercial skillset they need to continue to meet Applied Medical's ambitions. You will be part of the Field Advancement team and report to the Field Advancement Training Manager.

Within Applied Medical this position has the internal job title of Field Advancement Trainer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide training to the European Sales teams to increase their technical, clinical and business skillset
  • Facilitate and coordinate training events
  • Assist in the development of training programs including concept design and material development
  • Continually assess the training and developmental needs of the European Sales team to ensure and maintain the high quality and efficiency of all sales activities
  • Help to establish training road maps, gap analysis tools, competency models and overall framework for our Territory Managers, Market Implementation Specialists and Sales Managers
  • Work closely with Senior Management and other departments to investigate and assist in the implementation of e-learning strategies to support sales training objectives
  • Cooperate with our European Product Implementation Managers on various projects, new product launches, program trainings, etc.
  • Liaise with our US Field Advancement Team to leverage best practices, program content, training expertise and other support materials
  • Contribute to the execution and compliance of our internal the Field Implementation Training program
  • Ensure comprehensive communication to all stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree level or higher
  • Several years of successful sales experience is a must, preferably in Medical Devices or Pharma
  • Experience as sales training facilitator
  • Experience in designing commercial and technical training curricula for sales teams is considered a plus
  • Excellent communication, organizing and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently, understand technical content and interact effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of other European languages is preferred
  • Fulltime availability
  • Living in The Netherlands (Amersfoort region) and willing to travel incidentally
