Intern Business Control
The Intern Business Control will own a piece of an ongoing global finance transformation project, which may include (but is not limited to) the following:
- Analyze system data to recommend and implement changes
- Work with project leads to think through project risks related to people, process, and technology, and how to leverage appropriate change management tools and communication channels to mitigate these risks
- Find creative solutions to engage different stakeholder groups and encourage project sponsorship
- Provide recommendations on how to standardize or improve current business processes
- Help develop meaningful, effective communications and training material to address identified impacts
- Utilize various software tools including ABW, Excel, Powerpoint, Tableau
- Implement organizational changes alongside senior management and plan future projects using a transformational road-map
- Create timelines and prioritize projects for the managing team
- Analyze data and present all findings
- Brainstorm and problem solve in a team setting
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fast learner, problem solving and analytical skill
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple work streams
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinker who is unafraid to share his/her opinion
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Experience with Project Managing is required
- Ability to meet deadlines and strict timelines
- Advanced skills and proficiency in analytics and data
- Preference to those with a strong desire to learn about the finance organization, finance projects, and project management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with Project Managing
- Experience with finance and/or accounting processes and tools
