Position Summary

We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer within our Utilities team based in Dublin. The successful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design of civil engineering projects
  • Assisting in the delivery of civil engineering projects
  • Working as part of a team of civil engineers on major projects
  • Demonstrate ability to deliver competently within agreed budget and timeframes
  • Play an active and positive role within Jacobs's project teams
  • Attending design team meetings
  • Occasional interface with external clients
  • Site representation.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • You will hold, or be working towards, an accredited MEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent and expecting a 2:1)
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to produce well-presented and accurate drawings and reports
  • Committed to work and capable of managing own tasks, costs and meeting deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
  • Good IT skills.

Desirable Criteria

  • The ability to produce well presented reports is also desirable.
  • We are looking for Graduates who have studied relevant modules/projects as part of their studies.
