Summary of Role

Raytheon UK is looking for a Project Assistant to join their Customer Services and Support business area. In this role you will provide support to Programme Managers and will be involved in communication and interfacing with customers and the Leadership team. The work will primarily be based out of our Harlow facility, with occasional visits to customer and other Raytheon facilities.

Main Duties

The Project Assistant will provide support to Programme Managers for a wide range of activities to ensure successful operation of the Customer Services and Support

business area including customer facing support. This role will include the following activities:

  • Preparation of briefings for business, programme and monthly leadership team reviews
  • monitoring requisite financial controls and indicators
  • support to programme reviews / presentations to senior management and customers
  • ensuring accurate reporting of business metrics
  • supporting programme managers to manage corrective actions and track actions to closure
  • in the programme managers absence to act as delegate PM and chairperson for meetings that would normally be chaired by the PM
  • Project Co-ordination of the spares and repairs element of the business

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Business Management, or other relevant experience
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent personal time management
  • Methodical, hardworking, enthusiastic and able to work well under pressure
  • Ability to multitask and be re-tasked at short notice to achieve changing business priorities
