Who we’re looking for:

As a NPI Manufacturing Engineer – Hardware you will take an important role in the successful introduction of new/existing products into Contract Manufacturing Partners. You will work with cross-functional teams like Development, Engineering, Operations and Contract Manufacturers, to develop and implement new product introductions, and product or process improvements. You will be the main point of contact to our Contract Manufacturers and responsible for the alignment on/release of Technical Data Packages (TDP).

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Contract Manufacturing Partners, Development and Quality department to ensure proper documentation is issued and in place as part of the product implementation process.
  • Manage/introduce product improvements at Contract Manufacturers via clear change management procedures.
  • Manage/introduce existing products to Contract Manufacturers Partners.
  • Acquire product expertise from the organisation to represent Technical Data Package (TDP) to Contract Manufacturers.
  • Support of new products and prototype assemblies.
  • Coordinate with development, quality and reliability teams to assure all product, component and process evaluations are completed to deliver a quality final product.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum BSc degree in technical field, Electrical or Mechanical degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Product, Process, or NPI Engineering in high volume electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers.
  • Experience with DFM, DFA.
  • Experience with ECO process.
  • Experience working with a PLM system.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Exact.
  • Understand product manufacturability and testability
  • Experience with electronics assembly and integration.
  • Experience in the EV industry, automotive or electrical industry
