Primary industry players are Charge Point Operators (CPO’s), who operate charge points and make them available to drivers, and eMobility Service Providers (MSP’s), who make sure drivers of electric vehicles can charge when and where they need to.

These players need to build and manage their infrastructures, connect with other charging networks and drivers, invoice their customers, and enhance their customers’ charging experience via advanced data-driven services. For many companies, these roles are new and their current core activity is in fleet management, utilities, IT integration, construction or building and energy management.

Who we're looking for:

As Sales Manager, you will be part of our ambitious and rapidly expanding sales team that knows how to identify and win opportunities. You will identify, contact and contract companies who want to use Everon to manage their charging infrastructures and driver solutions. You will highlight the Everon capabilities to get customers launched into their respective markets quickly and reliably.

Your specific focus will be the fleets segment and you will be assigned further segments as we go along. You will work from our head office in Amsterdam, located in Europe’s most sustainable office building, reporting directly to the CRO.

As a Sales Manager in the Fleets segment you will:

  • Create new opportunities through prospecting and networking, with a primary focus to land new logos in the fleets segment
  • Become an expert on our product and conduct discovery calls and presentations to prospective customers, including demos where needed
  • Lead segment building initiatives through networking & stakeholder events, conferences and trade shows to drive awareness, educate the industry, create net new opportunities and build pipeline
  • Respond to and follow up on sales opportunities by email, telephone, and personal visits
  • Effectively sell the Everon value to prospect stakeholders through presentations, proposals and sales contracts
  • Consistently take a quantitative and strategic approach in segment planning to forecast accurately, understanding pipeline, top opportunities and opportunity stage, and coverage factor
  • Periodically update your overall segment plan based on the above and considering historical close rates, rate of retention and upsell potential
  • Collaborate well with colleagues by proactively identifying best practices and sharing those often, and show fearlessness in trying out new sales methods
  • Exceed quarterly and annual targets

REQUIREMENTS

You’ll carry the following credentials to make a great candidate:

  • You have built a vertical/new business and are excited to do it again
  • You have a successful track record of being a top performer, exceeding quarterly and annual commercial targets
  • You thrive in a growing, fast-paced startup environment, by being a true self-starter
  • You are naturally curious and caring towards customers and prospects and thrive on experimentation and innovating the sale process
  • You value feedback and are open to continuously learn and develop further both personally and professionally
  • You have at least 5 years relevant sales experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) or other relevant business development experience
  • You have previous experience with multi-tenant concepts
  • You have or are willing to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of the EV sector; alternatively you might be already driving an EV or are truly inspired by and passionate about the EV industry in general or about renewable technologies and related product and service innovations
  • You have experience with sales CRM tools like Salesforce.com
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
