FPS Major Machinery Overhaul Planner - Competitive Salary and Benefits

Role

Responsible for the planning and scheduling of major machinery overhauls at Kinneil and managing the efficient delivery of activities.

The role reports to the Rotating Equipment Team lead with dotted line to the Planning Team Leader

Key Accountabilities

Detailed job planning and scheduling of major machinery overhauls (Gas Turbines & Centrifugal compressors). Deliver fully optimised schedules for these disciplines for the asset. Provide cover for other planners within the team when required.

  • Carry out detailed job planning within the Maximo MMS.
  • Preparation of required disciplines, 8Q,12wk, 6wk and 2wk schedules for a machinery overhauls
  • Resource tracking and levelling of machinery overhaul plans and schedules
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure validity/accuracy of planned activities into the schedule.
  • Identification and securing availability of vendors.
  • Identification and ordering of materials required.
  • Identification of services required.
  • Work with relevant SPA to ensure job readiness.
  • Ensure accurate job plans exist for planned activities within Maximo including all resources, services, materials, procedures, documents, tools etc.
  • Prepare input material and facilitate asset maintenance scheduling meetings (cover for other planners when required).
  • Initiation of permits within the electronic Control of Work system related to scheduled activities.

  • Experience of operational, engineering and maintenance systems and processes.
  • Good working knowledge of Ineos maintenance standards, Integrity Management,
  • Control of work and HSSE.
  • Understanding of Planning and Scheduling processes, concepts and tools.
  • Good communication and engagement skills.
  • Cooperative in groups and towards other disciplines and functions.
  • Ability to identify areas for simplification and efficiency improvements.

Criteria/Education

  • ONC/HNC in Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and success in developing new working relationships.
  • In depth knowledge of Maximo.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft base products and
  • Planning tools (Primavera).
  • Structured approach with talent for planning.
  • Positive attitude, self-confident, independent and ability to work on own initiative.
