Why are we looking for you

NTS Norma is a dynamic organization, and we are looking for a new colleague to join us as a measurement technician. Our measurements room has a great team, and we are looking for a new co-worker. This all-around position will call upon all of your skills. So, do you have a fresh approach and strong convictions? Are you a team player who puts a premium on quality? Do you want to work in a good environment where you feel that your voice is heard? We are looking for you!

What will you be doing

You will use drawings and other specifications to create independent measurement programs. You will monitor, measure and test dimensions with a range of measuring equipment, such as CMMs, a measuring arm with a scanner and a roundness gauge. You will register the results and assess manufactured and purchased components. You will also make decisions about project discrepancies based on the relevant quality requirements. In the event that a product is deemed irregular, you will apply new measures and take corrective action.

Naturally, you will fulfill a detecting role, which will include indicating and reporting on production quality trends. You will register any discrepancies and archive quality records (including measurement reports). We also expect you to report on structural quality problems when they become apparent.

What skills do you have

  • You have completed a relevant applied sciences degree program, preferably in engineering. A background in machining is also recommended.
  • You are an open, accurate and professional team player.
  • You understand schematics and dimensional and positional tolerances.
  • Experience with Zeiss and Calypso is mandatory.
  • Good command of English and German is required.
  • We encourage starters who have completed a level 3 or 4 engineering degree and candidates with more relevant job experience alike to apply for this position.

What do we offer

NTS offers the opportunity to work for a successful and dynamic business with a leading market position and an engaging project portfolio. Our organization has a characteristically informal and friendly atmosphere, and our staff looks out for each other. Drive, entrepreneurial spirit, a results-focused mindset and striving to be the best are what we aim for in everything that we make and do. Naturally, these are the traits that we are looking for in our new colleague.

What can you expect

We will take care to ensure that you quickly feel at home on our team. We will pair you up with one of our experienced colleagues who will show your the ropes and introduce you to your other co-workers. You will be given time to discuss what is expected of you in your new role with your supervisor. It’s a given that you do your job well, but we think it’s equally important to understand why you are doing it, and for whom. We are happy to answer any questions you may have in that regard. This approach will help you to quickly get the hang of how we operate and put you in a position to make a real difference and add value for our team and our clients.
